The Scout section is for boys and girls aged 11 to 14 years and offers an amazing array of activities designed to teach important life skills and get Scouts social and active.

Scouts, as a section, focuses on allowing young people to develop their confidence, teaches them how to work as part of a team, and increases independence and initiative. Scouts learn essential outdoor safety skills as well as participate in a variety of physical and intellectual challenges, and community service. Scouts are encouraged to expand abilities in special interest areas and favourite hobbies using meaningful badges and awards. Bushwalks and camping expeditions, getting out on the water in a kayak, canoe or sailboat, and archery are just some of the adventures Scouts get up to.
